How Your Video and Audio Are Processed

AI Dubbing Studio runs as a desktop app on Windows, but transcription, translation, and voice generation currently require an internet connection and run through online AI models — there is no offline dubbing mode yet. Caption rendering and export are handled locally by ffmpeg, bundled with the app. Content you submit for dubbing is used only to produce your output and is not sold to third parties.

What We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run the trial and license system:

  • Your email address, if you purchase a license or contact support.
  • A license key and a device identifier, used to enforce the one-device-at-a-time license limit.
  • Basic app usage signals (such as crash reports), if you choose to share them.

Third-Party Services

Purchases are processed by our payment provider (Gumroad), which handles your payment details directly — we do not store your card information. Transcription, translation, and voice generation run through your own Groq or OpenAI API key (whichever you choose), so the content you submit for dubbing is sent directly to that provider to produce your output, subject to that provider's own data-handling terms — not ours. We do not receive or store a copy of your submitted content ourselves.

Cookies & Analytics

This site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard connection-level data (such as IP address and request headers) for security and performance purposes as part of its infrastructure — see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details on that processing.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you (email, license key, device identifier). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

Data Retention & Deletion

License and account records are kept for as long as your license is active. Contact support if you'd like your account data deleted.
